검찰, 현직 부장검사 '스폰서·사건무마 청탁' 의혹 감찰
대검찰청 감찰본부(본부장 정병하)는 금융 관련 공공기관에 파견된 김모 부장검사의 금품 수수 및 사건무마 청탁 등 비위 의혹을 서울서부지검으로부터 보고받고 감찰을 진행 중이라고 함.
김 부장검사는 고교동창인 김모씨로부터 각각 500만원과 1천만원 등 총 1천500만원을 전달받았고 금전 거래 당시 타인 계좌를 이용한 것으로 조사.
이후 김씨가 회삿돈 15억원 횡령 및 거래처를 상대로 한 50억원대 사기 등 혐의로 고소당하자 사건을 수사하는 검사를 포함한 서울서부지검 검사들과 식사자리 등에서 접촉해 사건무마 청탁을 시도했다는 의혹이 제기.
김 부장검사는 "해당 피의자는 중·고교 동창일 뿐 무슨 업자와의 관계가 아니며, 금전 거래는 김씨가 고소 당해 사건이 본격적으로 불거지기 전에 변제가 됐다. 사법 절차에 응하지 않는 피의자의 일방 주장"이라고 해명.
